Many businesses should be using the turn of the new financial year to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth. Veritas Advisory is no different, with that in mind, it’s time to reflect on our first 3 years and look forward to the years ahead.

In the last 3 years, Veritas Advisory has grown from an initial team of 15 to now a team of 25 and introduced our presence interstate in Melbourne with other regional and interstate opportunities in our sights. Undoubtedly the loss of Murray in mid-2015 has also meant that the entire team has worked hard to live up to his legacy and strive for truth and excellence each and every day.

This growth has come with its own challenges that have been met with opportunities evolving for existing team members to secure their future. As a result of this hard work, a number of our team have received just reward in their promotions with Jackie Stepto and Kevin Cotter being elevated to management positions and Frank Farrugia given the go-ahead to stamp our presence in the ever growing business community in ‘The Shire’. The leadership group within Veritas Advisory are very keen to continue to support and promote the development of its team with active programmes internally such as our Mentor Programme as well as utilising external programmes by member bodies and fellow colleagues.

Be it by chance, good fortune or market growth, the Veritas team has experienced a good run and this is all credit to the support of our stakeholder relations.

A key development within our industry is the insolvency law reforms which we welcome. We also welcome the strengthening of the industry improvements in regulation and governance of insolvency practitioners which is why we have identified the need to create a new role to support self-regulation and provide timely assistance to authorities, regulators, member bodies and the public at large.

To that, Adam Lysle has been appointed as our Stakeholder Relationship Manager with a key drive to ensure that the experience any stakeholder has with Veritas Advisory results in exceeding their expectations.

Adam has been involved within the Insolvency industry since 1991 and has also broadened his acumen by working outside the industry at various times. His extensive experience with management in business and wholly government funded operations including fields such as transport and logistics, services, hospitality, rural and agribusiness, construction, retail and wholesale plus over 15 years management experience within the defence community brings a level of knowledge in providing practical solutions to situations that are times stressful and require a steady hand.

Adam has always been involved in the local community with active memberships in various Chambers of Commerce and business networking groups. As a result, Adam’s ability to lead Veritas Advisory in the management of stakeholders is a given.

The very name of our firm means that it transcends any one person and relies primarily on the entire team striving to achieve outcomes with truth and in excellence.
